Comparison of the most important models of investments in cyber and information security
Abstract
The economics of cybersecurity is an area that deals with whether an organization spends enough to secure its assets and whether the security budget is spent on the right things. Although there has been a significant increase in research in the field of economics of cybersecurity, further research is needed in the area of investments in cyber and information security, as cyber crime and economic espionage are for companies increasing problem. This article presents and compares the most important models of investment in cyber security. Finally, they are listed the limitations of these models and possible directions for further research.
